I admit I’m hooked with the twitter world lately. It became a favorite source of mine to get the latest news around the world. From artist to news media men, I am following them including some of my friends. I log-in to my account many times in a day to read tweets that are helpful and entertaining. Twitter logo became a fascination also. They looked so cute and adorable with their different mood. I had a collection of photos of twitter logos, here I’ll show you what I got:

End the day at P.Joe’s

Author: yanilea  //  Category: Personal, Restaurant

I had a really long day yesterday and I’m not surprised with my 10 long hours of sleep last night! Just a proof that I have been tired for a week of work and a sleep of 5-6 hours per day. Now I can say that my body really restore what I need to restore. It just comes naturally, I believe. Yesterday is a fun-filled day, we end it up with a little celebration at P.Joe’s because  Bryan just bought his new motorbike. P.Joe restaurant is located at SM’s first floor. We enjoyed our dinner starter Caesar’s salad.

caesar's salad

Very awesome! I’m not a fan of salad but this one really taste so good! Bryan and Umer had the same dish, barbecue and shrimps as a side dish.

meat barbeque and shrimp

I savor Bryan’s shrimp, I ate most of it haha. Since I’m considering a diet that day, I only ordered spaghetti with fries. Lol! Carbo loaded still. I was hoping to skip rice.

Just to give you an idea of how the day was spent, here are random pics. (Post is full of pics)

Christmas decorations

While on the cab I took a pic outside, Christmas is really here.

Bryan waiting for Umer to come, this is how an anxious man looks like. Lol! Umer teached him to drive his motorbike.

And so the session start, see the two of them bonding together.

Perfect place to learn how to drive.

Justice Will Prevail but When?

My heart goes to all the families and friends of the Maguindanao massacre victims. I think that’s the saddest news I’ve ever heard this year. Imagine? Killing humans just because of selfish political ambitions. It’s not a teaching of God. That fact could break anybody’s heart. Aside from the killing happened in Maguindanao, what went more sad is to learn how bad people became just to get what they want.

Monday, Nov. 23 when the mass killings happened in Maguindanao. 100 armed men stopped the convoy of Mangudadatu while on their way to file for the candidacy of vice-mayor Toto Mangudadatu for governor in their province. Most person who went with the convoy is women because they believe they will not be harmed by their political rival as believed that in rido teachings, women are untouchables. But it went wrong this time, no life is spared. even the media men were killed. Now this makes Philippines the most dangerous country for journalist. Even I, became afraid of the country that I lived in, I feel no safe being here specifically in Mindanao. I think I cannot put my trust to politicians anymore and more so the government administration, I don’t really know what their motive is. Now that election is coming, I find it hard to pick the right person to vote for different government positions. I might sound pathetic here.

This problem need to be solved now, not later. I don’t know what is the next step that the president will take after announcing day of mourning yesterday November 25, 2009. I want to see more action about this than just talk and talk. Hope this will not be a dump case.

God bless Philippines!

With Arlen and Janice

The more the merrier! Gabby and Robs were there too.

I like more barbecue flavored pizza than New York’s finest flavor. But both are still delectable and toothsome hehe.

We also had a taste of their spicy hot fried chicken. The name tells it all.

After that, we enjoyed the striking movie 2012.

Wonderful day, indeed!

Intriguing name right? When I first heard it, I became curious about it. When you are at Cagayan de Oro you must heard about this newly opened restaurant right at the heart of the city. And so, Bryan and I went to try what foods and services they could offer.  Right from the gate before arriving to our table, a guard had already fetch us with his umbrella, it was raining that time and we have hard time looking for the restaurant due to its almost towered fences. We almost not recognize that it was a restaurant from afar because months ago, the place the restaurant stood now is like an abandoned lot. Now it looks so sparkling and attractive place to dine in.

The attendants were welcoming, menu were served immediately after we took our seat. With no doubt at mind, Bryan ordered mixed veggies together with beef with bali sauce and for our drinks, we chose buko and mango. What more can I say when it was served, it smells so good! hmm Very appetizing! Wanted to grab the food right then and there but I have to behave so I controlled myself hehe. haha nah I don’t want to salivate so we started our feast even the second order was not yet served.

Here are some pics:

I never tasted such food so good like this! Very delightful! I’ll surely come back for more to try their other dishes. Bryan, please prepare for another pompous dining. Lol!
